Recently Microsoft released SQL Server v.Next CTP1 for Ubuntu 16.04. Database knowledge So I had idea get it running on Debian Jessie. H2 database Simple installing of package the way Microsoft describes on the Microsoft web didn’t worked, because the problem with dependencies. Nexus 5 data recovery MS Sql Server requires newer OpenSSL library that is in reporitory. Data recovery uk I have solved this using Debian Backports and installed OpenSSL from it.

The only problem is, that I was not able to install SQL Server tools, so no command line client and BCP utility. Database collation I didn’t want to take risk to install a lot of libraries from backports to solve a lot of dependencies including libc and possibly breaking my linux box.

As workaround I am using as client Visual Studio Code with installed mssql extension that works perfectly on Debian Jessie. Database yugioh So the only one problem is at the moment that I need to run X on that box (while it is development machine, it is not problem at all) and missing BCP for bulk imports at the moment.
