I card data recovery Database record POSITION PURPOSEUnder the direction of the Chief Information Officer, the Director of Healthcare Data Science Systems is responsible for the direction and oversight of analytics and reporting systems and tools that support IEHP operational, compliance, performance monitoring and business strategy efforts across the organization. Database name Database research  The Director of Healthcare Data Science is also responsible for the oversight of reporting and analytics resource management, task management, data management and reporting systems development. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESDirect and oversee the development, enhancement and sustainment of the data warehouse, ensuring that it supports operational, compliance, performance improvement, and business reporting needs across the organization. Responsible for the implementation and development of IEHP’s Data Governance principles and guidelines. Ensure data governance guidelines are implemented consistently throughout the organizations’ reporting entities and tools.Direct and oversee the task management / resource management activities to the Healthcare Data Science production teams. Ensure critical reporting solutions are delivered to requesting departments in an effective and timely manner.Direct initiatives including self-service reporting solutions, data trending analyses, Member and Provider profiling, data mining, data analysis, and promoting a data-aware culture throughout organization.Responsible for ensuring that IEHP’sreportingsystems are consistent in meetingreportingrequirements with IEHP’s regulatory bodies:DHCSDMHCNCQACMSCollaborate with other IEHP departments to prepare for and comply with requiredreporting and data compliance audits.Work in collaboration with other IEHP departments to assess and maintain the validity and integrity of internal data sources.Evaluate and implement, as appropriate, new analytical reporting, data mining products, and features that enable data-driven decision making for the organization.Demonstrate a commitment to support IEHP’s strategic priorities to become a 5-Star Health Plan and incorporate LEAN principles into daily work.Any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations are successful.Ensure the privacy and security of PHI (Protected Health Information) as outlined in IEHP’s policies and procedures relating to HIPAA compliance.REQUIREMENTSMS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.Significant experience (5+ years) in database design, data analysis and reporting. Experience and proficiency in emerging big data analytics tools and architecture. 5+ years’ experience managing analytical teams and working with analytics in a data warehouse environment.Strategic thinker with experience managing enterprise-wide data and analytics. Strong ability to translate data into meaningful and actionable information. Must support a culture of collaboration; must have excellent writing, interpersonal communication, organizational skills; and sensitivity to a multi-cultural environment and community.
